3 Ways To Amplify Your Leadership

Do you desire to make change? Have a passion you want to turn into action? Adding value to others through an idea you have can be a noble cause.

The most effective leaders share inspiring ideas of the future we call “vision”. Their clear view of the future and “the possible” attracts others to their cause. The best are able to amplify their message and bring it to life.

In my work and study, I have observed ways to amplify our leadership capability. As we do our influence increases improving our probability of making desired change. I implore you to consider the ways of service, giving, and learning to amplify your influence.

Amplifying our leadership is a key to achieving something remarkable.

Serve A Noble Cause

When we serve a cause bigger than ourselves it changes how we see the world and our place in it. We begin to feel humble, respect others as individuals, and appreciate our own gifts. We understand that we are not the point of the story, but we are a point in the story. Living each day with purpose gives meaning to each step and we begin choosing only work that matters.

When we live knowing we are already blessed, we no longer have to strive to get the blessing.

Give Back

Over time all physical things fade, but the life inside a person does not.

Generously investing in people through caring, listening, loving, and leading have eternal payback. Want to invest something you won't regret? Invest in those around you. Gratefulness increases leadership capacity.

When we do this using our own unique giftings something magical happens. We find deeper meaning, refined purpose, and discover our influence increases.

How? Being your best self influences others the most. You can do that can't you?

Learn

When we are the smartest person in the room, we are in the wrong room.

To lead well we know we choose to be curious when we experience circumstances or encounter people we don't understand.

We spend time with people wiser and smarter than us and purpose to not be the smartest person in the room. Below I have included a few links to a some resources that have helped me reshape my thinking. Let me know if they help you.

Conclusion

Today, let us commit to serve a noble cause. One providing new opportunity to learn while allowing us to put the needs of others before our own. The Shepherd Leader lives in ways dedicated to making change that matters in the lives of others and discovers a richer life for themselves.
