Making the remarkable

Making something remarkable is possible through positioning people well, focusing on the most important, and leveraging our teams’ gifting.

Achieving successful outcomes require each team member using their special gifts and talents in harmony with others on the team.  Our responsibility is to position each member of the team so they can maximize their contribution.

Making the journey possible requires removing the non-essentials.

Greg McKeown articulates this well his book Essentialism,

“Instead of making choices reactively, the Essentialist deliberately distinguishes the vital few from the trivial many, eliminates the nonessentials, and then removes obstacles so the essential things have clear, smooth passage.”

In addition, achieving the remarkable requires that we do our part well while simultaneously identifying new ways to encourage team collaboration.  The best teams recognize possibilities in their teammates to add value in new ways and encourage them to give their talents to the cause.
